How do I get to Puerto Escondido?

Getting to Puerto Escondido is straightforward. First, book your flight to Mexico City (airport code MEX), which is the most common international gateway. From Mexico City, several airlines, including Aeromar, Volaris, and Aeromexico, offer direct flights to Puerto Escondido (airport code PXM). The flight typically takes about an hour and a half. Alternatively, you can also fly into Oaxaca City (airport code OAX) and then take a scenic bus ride or a short domestic flight to Puerto Escondido.

If you need any assistance upon arrival or have specific travel preferences, please let us know, and we can help make arrangements to ensure a smooth start to your vacation in Puerto Escondido.

Is Puerto Escondido safe for travelers?

Puerto Escondido is generally considered safe for travelers, especially in tourist-frequented areas such as the beaches and hotel zones. We are proud to note that we have been running our camp here for years without any incidents, reflecting our commitment to your safety and well-being.

What day do I need to arrive / leave?

Come any day you like! We start training Monday in the afternoon. If you don’t want to miss out on anything, we recommend you arrive Sunday that way you are relaxed and ready to train on Monday. Training sessions end on Friday. If you wish to vacation longer and enjoy more of Mexico we can easily arrange extra nights at the resort at a reduced rate.
